ABOUT MY PROJECT (Matt Olieman)
When it's all done, I hope it will look similar to the
actual A340 Cockpit. There'll only be one thing missing...
wings, well... maybe not the only thing.
I started the project on August 24, 2002.
My goal is to be able to have the simulator mobile, to
move it on and off a trailer, easy setup and disassemble
(partially). This will be the most challenging part of my
project (at least I think). I want to be able to share the
simulator with school kids and other flight-sim enthusiasts.
The visual will be a projection screen made of a 155 degree
horizontal spherical screen, 9 feet from center flight deck
point of view.
I will try to keep you updated with pictures as the project
continues..
