My A340 Project Adventure Begins
As you can see below, it all started August 28, 2002. My
wife (Marcia) and I discussed this project in great detail.
I'm grateful to have such a supportive wife, which seems
to be the unusual, so I hear. The project started quite
rapidly, I was able to put together the frame work for the
pedestal and MIPS rather quickly. I have to admit.... It
was redone many times..
I'll use this space in the other galleries to recollect
some of my thoughts and share them with you.

looks like a funny looking Lemonade stand", yeah, right.

SEPTEMBER 30, 2002
Marcia and I sold our house in Michigan and picked up a few
things to take back to IL. Including a IBM AS400 a gift from
my son. It must weigh a 1000 lbs. (no joke). My son (Mark)
and I tried to reposition it in the trailer, and could not.
Had to get his pickup truck and pull the case to move it.
|
OCTOBER 7, 2002
Taking out the components of the AS400. I plan on using the
case and it's power supply to rack my computers for the SIM.
Check out the Tape drive on the floor, next to the case, it
weighs 71 lbs.
